OBJECTIVES:

The Ministry of Social Affairs announces the establishment of Kuwait Accountants and Auditors Association for a non-limited period, with its domicile in Kuwait city, registered under No. 57, clubs and public interest societies, for achieving the following objectives:

§  Upgrading the professional and cultural level of the members.

§  Defending the rights of the members, and facilitating their work, in addition to securing their future on inability, aging, sickness and non-employment.

§  Providing its members with information related to the latest development of the field of accounting and encouraging them to exchange information in their meetings and conferences.

§  Developing and enhancing accounting thought, encouraging and enhancing scientific research in the field of accounting.  

§  Participation in organizing the rules of accounting and auditing, and licensing highly qualified persons to be legal accountants.

§  Participating to the economic development in the country, and planning for the same with the concerned entities.

§  Cooperating with other professional societies and entities in the field of exchanging professional information, recommendations, and suggestions for accomplishment of shared objectives.

VISION:

§  To be the best professional association in serving its members, defending their rights and participating social issues.

§  Performing a leading role in supporting the financial and economic sector on the level of the state.

§  To be the first option for providing professional consultancy.

§  To be among the leading societies on the local, regional and international level.

§  Working as one team by benefiting from the experiences and capabilities of the members of the general assembly and through the activation of the role of internal committees of the Association and granting them the proper authorization pursuant to the Articles of Association and the internal bylaws.

§  Shouldering our liability by upgrading the professional level of the members, defending their rights and securing their future.

§  Working on enhancing the professional and working level of the accountant on the level of the country, and working for classifying the position of accountant among the professional positions along with application of allowances to all sectors of the country on just and equal basis.

§  Taking the initiative in activating the role of the Association with the governmental and legislative entities as well as the private sector, and cooperating with professional societies locally and abroad.

§  Providing the members with the latest developments in the field of accounting during their meetings, gatherings and conferences.

§  Completion of the Association domicile in a manner that copes with the objectives and purposes of the Association and pursuant to its capabilities, on an area not less than other sister associations, and providing a temporary domicile in case of withdrawing the current domicile as a result of delay in completing the new domicile of the Association.

§  Respecting the individual and being responsible and honest in performing work.
